    Position Overview

    Nettles Construction Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager that has experience in construction, great organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, can multi-task, and is skilled in communication, problem solving and strategic thinking for our Waller, TX based operation.

    Nettles Construction Solutions, Inc. is a commercial subcontractor that specializes in the installation of cellular concrete engineered fills, roof deck systems, gypsum floor underlayment, sprayed fireproofing, and moveable partitions. Our operations cover most of the mid-west.     Responsibilities

    Assist in the management of projects from pre-construction through completion, including but not limited to the following critical areas for all NCS projects:

    • Assist with preconstruction services for select projects.
    • Coordinate with Estimating/Sales during project handoff process.
    • Assist with creating and updating construction schedules.
    • Maintain and organize project documentation (contracts, Insurance Certs, TEC’s, RFI’s, submittals, change orders, reports, etc.)
    • Coordinate material and equipment rentals procurement with vendors, customers, and internal team members.
    • Serve as a liaison between field crews, general contractors, vendors, and internal team members.
    • Assist with project cost tracking and budgets.
    • Maximize efficiency through planning.
    • Perform additional assignments, as needed.

    Requirements

    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
    • Self-starter and confident in written and verbal communication with a variety of team members.
    • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail .
    • Ability to multi-task and take on new challenges.
    • A degree in Construction Management or some field experience is preferred.
