Nettles Careers: Construction Company Controller

We are looking for an experienced Construction Company Controller to lead our accounting team. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, drafting monthly financial statements and working with our accounting team to process payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.  Additional responsibilities include integration of accounting, payroll and billing platforms, working with project managers to assess financial progress, preparing forecasts, and improving financial policies and procedures for the organization.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in construction accounting, including progress billing, WIP reporting, tax compliance, payroll processing, and accounts payable/receivable
• A track record of performance demonstrated by career accomplishments and increasing levels of responsibility
• The desire to make things better and the ability to implement change through teamwork
• The ability to lead a team and manage the work of others
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Prior experience with software implementations and integrations a plus

Employment Details

• Compensation: $120,000-140,000/year + additional incentives
