Project Highlight:
This is a historic hotel and restaurant in a historic area of Kansas City. The building had been remodeled many times over which left the interior with various elevations and substrate materials. These difficult conditions create a need for a higher psi, more durable gypsum product such at USG Levelrock 3500. In addition the owners wanted to have a quiet building that would help keep sound transfer down from unit to unit and floor to floor. They chose to use the USG SAM N-25 ¼” sound mat for it’s sound attenuation properties as well as it’s reasonable pricing structure.
